So.., Someone else built it? Hard drive issues are also often behind crashes that occur only when opening a specific file. Also, I tried twice running memtest86, the computer freezes when it is running memtest86. Plain old dust.

You say its random which points to RAM more so, run Memtest86 it's never let me down when it comes to detecting faulty RAM.
