TL;DR If your computer is freezing after installing an SSD change from AHCI to IDE mode in the BIOS. I did a clean install 8 months ago and never reinstalled "Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver" and always had freezing issue for 10-15s, but with the latest update 1min freezing. In my case: If you use a local account Windows will activate via 'digital entitlement', however activating through a Microsoft account labels that it was activated through 'digital entitlement through your Update 15: u/RedvexRaf tested his system more with the regedit fix, despite not having the freezing issue there are freezes in games and benchmark programs. I went into the BIOS, disabled Secure Boot, deleted any previous keys and went straight into a clean/format install.

EDIT: Others have also cleared the error by installing manufacturer AHCI drivers for their boards. This has been driving me slightly mad for a while.
