I'm assuming this means TRIM isn't enabled and it is being defragged like a traditional HDD. A bit of advanced info here - Defrag will only run on your SSD if volsnap is turned on, and volsnap is turned on by System Restore as one needs the files that are useless anyways beforehand or use MS own disk clean feature under the system tools. it was the flash plugin destroying my disk silently T_T good read anyway. http://www.sevenforums.com/performance-maintenance/388656-machine-keep-defrag-drive-even-after-disable-task.html

Scott didn't dig deeper of figure anything out. In this case, even if the defrag analysis shows the fragmentation over 10%, the OS will only send the set of TRIM commands to the solid state drive.

I can only shut down the pc by doing a hard shut down. Sometimes it goes Down to 5%, only to jump right back at 100% after a few seonds. Half the time these schedules do not work. The best and the most reliable way to view the defrag in action is to create natural conditions for the issue to occur. I finally discovered the disk 100% was the problem, and you gave me solutions that fixed not only that, but my slow program loads.
