Never had it run by itself. Which brings us back to your Ram. I just got a BSOD a few moments ago. If this solves the problem, replace the bad stick. Clicking on any one of these "indicators" will give you additional information of what may or not/ be happening during a certain week or day. All your work is gone, and you find a blue screen full of gibberish staring back at you. I will investigate.Some things I did this morning: I reseated all the RAM, different slots and different sticks.
I'm kind of a computer noob so I'm not entirely sure what to do. There may be a decent heat program that came with your MB that you can monitor your temps, or you can get some after market program. I have an Asus board that uses a pretty decent utility, and I'm sure that Asrock, MSI, and Gigabyte, have similar programs as well. For me, I usually have various extra components I keep just for this purpose. My next suspect, would be that your PS, may be failing, in not getting the proper voltage to your other components. Reinstalling the OS to fix a hardware issue is stupid and the guy who built it should know this. Great!
