Computer Freezes When Using Internet
The problem: I am able to access my Administrative tools in its default location by right click>All Programs>Open All Users, but not able to open it from the startup shortcut or will get the not responding status . I spent literal days plugging away using logic and hand drawn maps to figure out the problem... It hasn't done it in a few days Can post some old error codes but they relate to the video drivers which are up to date and are fine.

My lock up problem started a couple of weeks ago. After the download is complete, just run the .exe file to install the older version of the browser. That's it. While running resource monitor I have noticed the freeze at several points, but never with the same two or three things near the top of the disk activity scale. http://scientificpages.net/computer-freezes/freezing-up-now-and-again.html And how do I do this without the disk??
Try running with one stick of RAM at a time, see if it boots OK, and what sticks cause issues. the only way to recover the system is w/ a hard reset. There is also 4 gig of DDR 1066MHz ram and a 1TB HDD.
But a lot of websites are unviewable without it.
After the browser freezes it spreads to the rest of the system. The computer freezes up all the time. intel core2 quad 3.0 pross. 2, 1 gig ddr3 mem cards, brand is OCSZ think. The most frequent reason for a bios change/upgrade by Asus is to deal with memory problems caused by various modules.
I was running the Win 7 RC and had no issues what so ever. Register now! I don't have Cisco Network Magic or any such software installed. http://scientificpages.net/computer-freezes/issues-with-freezing.html Focus and fix it - before it breaks MS.
And my system runs and runs for as long as it takes between Microsoft Updates, which require a reboot. Removed the wireless connection and wired it directly 5. When this happens, whatever the reason, it would be pretty frustrating, I can understand... Nothing seems to help.
