You could also try a completely clean boot by unticking everything in the StartUp list in System, Configuration. so i did just that, i did half of them at a time, then started narrowing it down from there. I usually advise Windows users to keep at least 15% of a drive's capacity free at all times. Scan your computer for viruses.
